| The house is designed as a starter unit for a couple and two children. The interior is 350 sq.ft. and the exterior is 480 sq. ft. (30 ft. long and 16 ft. wide-exterior.) The walls are 3-string bales laid on edge- 4 courses high. Over the king-size raised bed and bathroom is a loft for sleeping. There will be porches on the north and west sides of the house. The southside will have a sunspace/greenhouse on part for heating and removable shading on the remaining part. The roof is a gable. In the future a seperate bedroom/study/bath unit is planned. | |||||||||||||||
