MORE WORKSHOP RESOURCES

Our courses are designed as great opportunities for learning, sharing and meeting others in a comfortable, relaxed, yet spirited atmosphere. Each workshop carefully integrates hands-on work/play, discussions, demonstrations and slide shows. A good library of alternative building books as well as assorted videos available to participants.

On site, in Canelo, there are several small buildings in various stages that allow you to see, touch and experience many of the materials and techniques that are taught. Students leave inspired - empowered with new possibilities and skills.

Bill and Athena Steen have been conducting workshops for over 15 years. Their combined building, research and artistic expertise creates a balanced, unique and enjoyable learning experience.

For all workshops in Canelo, lunches are included in workshop prices.

Children are wlecome as well. We have three boys -ages 16, 15 & 6 who are homeschooled and look forward to any chance to play with other kids. Plus rope swings, sand boxes etc.

Workshops are closed at 20 participants
Bill Steen teaching a class.
