Join us for a Natural Plasters workshop in Swall Meadows, outside of Bishop, CA. We will be hosting natural building pioneer and teacher Athena Steen from the Canelo Project and will explore mixing clay plasters using straw, sand, and local soils. A variety of earthen plasters will be covered. Learn how to apply them to both strawbale as well as more conventional walls. Come get your hands dirty, meet others, and experience the magic of natural plasters. 

All experience levels welcome 

Food: 3 meals a day (Sat breakfast – Wednesday dinner) 

Sliding Scale Pricing: 
Full five days: $800-1500 
Weekend only: $400-600
