Accommodations

CAMPING & BUNKROOM

Camping onsite is included in the workshop price. Shared indoor and outdoor bathrooms and hot showers are available for campers. 

We also have a bunkroom with only 4 beds (2 bunks) so spaces are limited. It is also mix gendered and bathrooms are shared. Pillows and bedding are provided. 
The bunk room is $10/night.

PRIVATE ROOMS

We also have a variety of private furnished ranch style rooms available, with single, double or king size beds Private rooms are $40/night (spaces limited).

Meals

All meals, including coffee, tea and a mid-morning snack, are included in the price of our onsite workshops. Meals are primarily Vegetarian and home cooked. We may on occasion sell extra beverages.  The nearest stores are a half hour away so bring any extra snacks or drinks you may need.

For all workshops please let us know your dietary restrictions as you register.

Traveling to Canelo

Tucson is the closest international airport to Canelo. Tucson is about a one and half hour drive to Canelo.

Flights to Phoenix are often less expensive (3hrs to Canelo). Shuttle service is available between the two cities ($40 one way) from Arizona Shuttle Service, (520) 795-6771.  A more economical option is Flix bus (https://www.flixbus.com) for $12 one way.  

If you contact us in advance, we can help arrange a ride from Tucson to Canelo for $35/one way. Usually there are multiple students flying in, so timing may be based on the final student arriving at the airport. You may have to wait a few hours. Please talk to us if you are considering an early or late flight.

Pets

Please do not bring any pets with you to Canelo. We have many animals already on the property. Thank you.
